Hurricane Katrina

My friends,
I was planning on putting up a new blog entry today, but Hurricane Katrina has put my plans on hold. We are battening down the hatches and securing our property. We are, at this projection, about 45 miles east of the storm center. We covet your prayers of protection during the storm. And we will be back in touch as soon as we are able.

Many blessings,
Cindi

Rev. Cindi, it's Pastor Julz here. How can we help you, the churches, the needs? It looks overwhelming on the news? Our prayers are with you all.

Cindi, I've tried to call, but can't get through. Your email address is at my house, under about 8 feet of water (from what I hear), so please post when you can to let people know if you are OK. My work email isn't working now. Connie

Hi all...

We are safe and staying at the pastor's parsonage. All is lost at home. The house is still standing, but full of raw sewage about 1-2' deep. We escaped with the "kids", a few clothes and some personal items. Patti has lost her job, as the owners decided not to rebuild. Looks like we will relocated to Mobile as soon as we can find employment and a place to live. We are full of gratitude for your prayers and words of encouragement. Will be back in touch as soon as I can.
